![]() Lastly- we were offered “coupons” to some options for paid services and activities right on arrival, and were scooted over to a desk to try to get us to join some sales meeting or sign up for a massage. But I did hear a lot of folks complaining they wanted to cool off in the pool. (Unavoidable) the main pool is hot, I’d guess about 90 degrees which makes sense as it’s baking in the sun all day. The pool (at our suite) was really really dirty when we arrived, but was cleaned and topped off a couple days later and was nice. We had some incredible meals, and some really bad ones. $12 Red Bulls and $70 tumbler cups Food was hit or miss at some restaurants. NO KIDS! Cons: The humid atmosphere and proximity to the swim our pool has the room smelling very very musty, and the AC has mold around it Proximity to anything but the hotel is limited within walking distance Every restaurant has a couple vegan options but they could offer more given the ingredients they’re already working with The on site market for anything not included (for instance, a Red Bull) is insanely overpriced. Pros: Service top to bottom is aces 24 hour room service Lots of dining options Several included activities daily Paid excursions also available on site Car rental on site The room we paid for was good in size, and location (21 block) No hidden fees Warm welcome committee Romantic property Very well maintained inside and out The property is sizeable- but not so much that you can’t walk the whole property, which is very nice. ![]() Captain Elroy, Wendy, chef Eduardo who stopped by our table with a surprise, Mesero and Araceli. We went to one eatery a lot here - and I also wanted to shout out these folks from the market restaurant for always being kind and friendly. The service crews were also great, bartenders always on point, quick and made great drinks. Lorena who was our guide for a tour to town and was so friendly and fun. Christopher in adventures who welcomed us to join several activities, remembered our names after one introduction, and had me laughing like crazy. He discreetly filmed it, and shared the news with everyone in his department, so any time we passed someone from “adventures”, they cheered for us. Charlie” who was a wonderful tour host- and helped film the surprise proposal my now fiancé had planned at a beach nearby. I also want to take a moment to shout out some stars of our trip- who really made us feel at home. It’s likely much higher in the high season, but we had no rain on our trip, and thankfully this area was not impacted much by the recent hurricane. We paid for a Jr Swim out suite and the price was RIGHT considering everything is included. I’ll provide some pros and cons below- but overall we certainly would come back. No waiting anywhere for food, drink or activities. ![]() This was our first time at an all inclusive resort- and we had an amazing time! First- we went in somewhat of an off season, we also arrived on a Monday and stayed through the week- so the place was nowhere near capacity. We would highly recommend staying at this resort just to meet and experience Ivan’s hospitality! He knew us by name and whenever he would see us would let us know about the activities going on for the day, show us a magic trick or just check in to see how our trip was going! He led the town tour and did an amazing job giving us information about historical landmarks and answered any questions we had. This trip wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was without our favorite entertainment team employee, Ivan!! We met him on the first day of our trip and he was undoubtably our highlight! He was so friendly, helpful and funny. Our favorite activity was the San Jose tour that took guests staying at the resort into town to do a tequila tasting, art walk and time to explore on your own. We spent most of our time in the main pool having drinks surrounded by so many activities going on! They offer aqua cycling, aqua and grass volleyball, pickle ball, bike tours, Black Jack games and so much more. We reserved the ocean view room which had a balcony with a jacuzzi tub and a beautiful view! The bed was comfortable, mini fridge was stocked and room was spacious. Overall this resort was a wonderful place to stay! We were greeted upon arrival with champagne, cold towels and a golf cart tour of the resort that dropped us off directly at the Preferred club to get a drink, snacks and check in while our bags were being brought to our rooms for us.
